Hello all, hello.
Let me tell you it has been a hell of a week. So much has happened in such a short period of time. So lets start with the matter at hand which is still in working progress. Bits Bobs and Bows is having a little renovation in its stock I have to say. So over the last month I had posted random items on there not following a certain theme and I just realized that that is no way to run a business. Their has to be an idea that each product is feeding off of or a branching off of, just like a tree. So I used this last month to my advantage to find out which products were most popular in my stores and which, well, weren't. I found that my magazine Hair Bow, which is featured in a couple blogs down, is the most viewed know. I was so happy because that is the product that I adore the most out of all of them and it is so cool and mega unique. Thats when I decided that I needed to take the design I loved most and that was popular and embrace it. Take it the next level. So I did. As we speak (well not exactly) I am working on my first collection of recycled accesories. I have lots of magazine items that are really unique and quite different. I also have lots of duck tape, newpaper and various other recyclable items that you might find interesting if you wanted to add a little flair to your hair. Boy, I am excited though. I have learned from watching the greatest (Louis Vuiton, Marc Jacobs, Stella Mccartney, Oscar De La Renta ) runway shows known to woman that it is not the one dress that captures you. It is not the one pair of shows that really sucks you up into the whole thing. It is the theme. It is what the whole show is revolving around. So taking that these people are quite successful (quite being an understatement ) I am going to make the most out of my business and really try and get this money to go the the Domincan Republic.
Second on the list of my hell of a life (not really), I am doing a half marathon for my personal project and to get people to sponsor me. The thing is, is that I haven't been documenting my progress that much so here I am starting today. I am doing a half marathon in October really just because I love running but also because it is all the more reason you should just think about sponsoring me :). So just on Sunday I did my longest run yet. 18 km!!! I was so proud of myself because 3.1 more km and it would be a half marathon. I had a really good run to which is the most important part about running. You HAVE to pace your self because 2 hours is a long time so there is a point where you feel like you are on the moon and you could just dance till the finish line and if that is before the half way point, don't go. You have to wait because chances that is just adrenaline kicking in and it is not going to stay forever. It just kind of pops in for tea and is gone before you know it. So from doing my very first half marathon I want to inspire people that you can do anything even at my age of 15 because one day we are going to be the people ruling the world and paying the taxes so why not get I head start on making a change? So I want to share what I have learnt on this weeks run with you in little running tips.
Running Tip # 1
When you run you need to work all your muscles throughout the whole thing. When you are on the flat you need to run heel to toe, and also on the down hill. On the up hill you have to run on your toes and take shorter strides, keeping an upright upper body position so your breathing is fluent and continious. Hope some people take my advice and see ya later!!! -E
